Cornel Dimovici

Cornel (Corneliu) Dimovici (born September 21, 1942 in Arad ) is a Romanian writer and doctor.

Life

Dimovici attended the "Iacob Mureșianu" Lyceum in Blaj (Blasendorf) and studied medicine in Cluj-Napoca (Klausenburg) . Then, from 1968, he was a doctor in Comandău and Ozun ( Kr. Covasna ). He has published numerous short stories and articles on literature and art. In 1974 he left Romania and received political asylum in the Federal Republic of Germany. After the Romanian Revolution of 1989 , he published prose and poetry again in Romania. He has lived in Wiesbaden since 1974 .
