Corneliu Bârlădeanu

Corneliu Bârlădeanu (* 1966 ) is an Orthodox clergyman in the Romanian Orthodox Church .

Life

Bârlădeanu studied Orthodox theology . In 2009 he was appointed Orthodox Bishop of the Romanian Orthodox Church in the Eastern Romanian Diocese of Huși . In 2017, he got caught in a public scandal after a video showing him having sex with another priest became public. He then resigned from his episcopal office and has lived as a monk ever since.
