Corus 86

Corus 86 is a Braunschweig graffiti artist and underground rapper who is under contract with the independent label Reckless Records . His texts often deal with violence, fitness, graffiti, women and pub walks.

Corus 86 started his first rap attempts with a voice recorder in 1992 during his school days. At the same time he also appeared for the first time as a graffiti sprayer. He was drawn to the underground . In 1994 he became a member of the street gang PBS. This gang regularly caused riots. Later he founded, together with the PBS gang members Si-Roc and in mid-98, the rapper crew "Rap-Force", with which it came to the first official appearances. Soon they got to know the Bielefeld underground soldiers (NTV and Aci Krank), with whom they worked and went on tour. In 1999 Corus 86 and Si-Roc produced the album Pump 2 Prollin their own studio. Officially only 200 CDs were pressed, which is why this album is to be regarded as a rarity and collector's item. Due to legal and financial problems, the EP "Silber, Schwarz und Analog" produced in 2004 could not be released. In 2005 there was again a collaboration with Aci Krank in the Harlem City Studios. A new version of the song Graffiti in the City was released on the sampler Untergrund-Klassika Teil 1 produced by Aci Krank .

In the middle of 2005 Corus 86 met DJ Reckless and DJ Manny Marc . This led to the collaboration on their album Hip Hop is dead . Manny Marc and Reckless were enthusiastic about the collaboration and saw further collaboration with Corus 86 as inevitable. Reckless finally founded his own label Reckless Records in 2006, after which Corus 86 was immediately signed. He gained fame through the album Deutschland ist Weltmeister , which was released at the time of the 2006 World Cup . From the beginning of October to the end of November 2007, Corus 86 accompanied the rapper gynecologist, on whose Burns the Club Tour.
