Costa Azul is a fishing village 10 km away from the Linha Verde near the border between the state of Bahia and the state of Sergipe in Brazil . The place is about 30 km south of Mangue Seco and about 210 km from Salvador da Bahia . In the vicinity of the place there are extensive breeding of freshwater crabs as well as the ubiquitous coconut palm plantations. There is a small tourist infrastructure with bars and beach restaurants. The attraction of the place is the very long and wide sandy beach.

The endless beach along the coconut palms is 30 km to Mangue Seco from Costa Azul
