Costa del Sud

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Costa del Sud ( south coast ) on Sardinia extends between Capo Teulada as the southernmost point of Sardinia in the west and the town of Santa Margherita di Pula in the east. It is characterized by numerous smaller and larger bays alternating with rocky headlands made of craggy granite rocks and sandstone . In addition to the Roman port city of Nora , the Is Zuddas grotto with its unique limestone formations also belongs to this stretch of coast.
