Coupe de Chamonix

The Coupe de Chamonix was an international ice hockey tournament that was held annually in Chamonix between 1909 and 1914 .

history

The first tournament took place in 1909 and consisted of five teams. The Princes Ice Hockey Club won the tournament with four wins from as many games. The following year only three teams took part, the Club des Patineurs de Paris won this second edition.

The third Coupe de Chamonix was held in January 1911 and won by the Oxford Canadians . The fifth edition in 1914 is also known as the LIHG championship .
