Courcelon

Courcelon is a place in the municipality of Courroux ( JU ) in Switzerland . The place is strongly influenced by agriculture , so there are some larger farms, such as Les Bassés . Even so, Courcelon has become more and more of a residential community in recent years. The place has only a few inhabitants (approx. 300), so it depends on the main town of Courroux. Despite its size, Courcelon has a primary school, a "laiterie" and a chapel. In the village, as in the entire canton of Jura, mainly French is spoken. The German place name "Sollendorf" is no longer in use today.
