Crêpe satin

Crêpesatin ( English double-side fabric ) is a fabric in a satin weave , wherein the warp threads of smooth Grège- or Organsinfäden and the weft yarns of highly twisted crepe yarns are made. Since the top of the fabric is dominated by the weft threads, it belongs to the group of weft atlas fabrics . It is also called Abseitenkrepp or reversible crepe called because both fabric sides can be used on the right side.

Crêpe satin has a pitted , poplin-like , finely ribbed right side of the fabric. The look is similar to the Crêpe de Chine or the Crêpe Marocain . The left side of the product during manufacture is very shiny. The handle is supple and flowing.
