Craig Harrison (writer)

Craig Harrison (* 1942 in Leeds , England ) is a New Zealand writer , best known for the novel Quiet Earth . The novel was published in 1981 and was adapted cinematically in 1985 under the same title ( Quiet Earth - The Last Experiment ).

Harrison came to New Zealand in 1966 and was a teacher at Massey University , where he taught courses in art history and film studies. He has written several novels, plays, and television comedies.
