Crash Test 02 is the second studio album by the Italian music duo Bloom 06 . It was first published in Italy on May 23, 2008 and contains ten titles, seven in English and three in Italian.

On January 30th, 2009 the album was released in a new edition in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, where it is distributed by Jet Set Records / edel Music . The single Being Not Like You was released in advance, which is included as an additional song in the new version of the album. It is the English version of Un'altra Come Te .

Already in February 2008 were individual previews in MySpace -profile of Bloom 06 provided for listening.

The album was created from the second half of 2007 to spring 2008 in the band's own studio in Villanova d'Asti near Turin , a total of 20 different pieces were written by Gianfranco Randone and Maurizio Lobina. From 12 shortlisted, 10 songs were chosen for the final version of the album. The mastering took place on March 11, 2008 in The Exchange studios in London and was carried out by Mike Marsh , who has also mastered for The Chemical Brothers and Daft Punk .

Chart placements

In Italy, the album was not ranked in the official Top 100 chart, but reached number 12 in the iTunes download charts.

Reviews

According to SaltinAria.it, Crash Test 02 combines the sounds of the first album with the typical sound of the previous project Eiffel 65 , making it more dance-heavy and therefore more danceable than Crash Test 01. Some of the lyrics are seen as profound and "hypnotic", but also sometimes ironic.

The band itself sees Crash Test 02 as "the other side of the coin" and means the contrast to the previous album.
