Creature Comforts is a British television series directed by Nick Park and Richard Goleszowski . The clay-animated series has been in production since 2003 . It is about animals being interviewed by a reporter . The series is a continuation of the 1989 short film Creature Comforts about wild animals that are asked about their living conditions in the zoo.
The animal performers were modeled in clay animation for existing sound recordings. The recordings are parts of interviews that were conducted with apparently randomly selected people on various topics and later assigned to the animals as their voices. Accordingly, the impression arises that the “animal next door” would casually comment on all kinds of topics or philosophize about important topics.
Creature Comforts can be seen in German on Comedy Central since January 15, 2007 and as an OmU on SF Zwei .
