Crisis Prevention ( CP ) is an official specialist magazine for hazard prevention , internal security and disaster relief and is aimed at decision-makers, multipliers and end users of all parties involved.

The magazine covers the broad spectrum of editorial content, which is necessary across disciplines and borders in order to keep the readership comprehensively up to date and to provide assistance with daily task management and optimization of operations. CP also offers a forum for professional exchange on the prevention of crises and major disasters and on concepts for crisis management. In networking the many responsible groups with one another, CP would like to make a small but important contribution as a platform for communication in order to uncover synergies and make their use easier and more efficient. Thematically, Crisis Prevention covers the work areas and areas of responsibility of the diverse readership. From civil protection to disaster medicine, from authority structures to targeted equipment in IT technology or questions and solutions in the area of critical infrastructures, the inclined reader will find a wide variety of originalia. Case studies and lessons learned offer the reader a practical reference and a direct benefit for implementation in their own area of responsibility.
CP keeps readers up to date with the latest developments in science, research and technology as well as innovations from industry. CP provides information about security policy framework conditions and current legal background in the respective sections. Education and training play a central role in the editorial concept of the CP, whereby the different professional groups are taken into account; Reports on studies and possible applications from simulations and exercises as well. Interviews with outstanding personalities from among the readership are an integral part of the editorial concept. Crisis Prevention was first published in autumn 2011. The magazine is published quarterly.
CP specialist portal
In the specialist portal of Crisis Prevention, the content from the specialist magazine appears, as well as in-depth and extended articles on the main topics. Articles, press releases, interviews and much more are regularly published under the categories of internal security, fire brigade, disaster control and communication / IT. The Events section also includes your own event, the CP conference and the events of the cooperation partners. For the exchange with the industry, the specialist portal contains a supplier directory, as well as various options for integration in the specialist portal.
Events
In cooperation with the THW, Crisis Prevention organizes the one-day CP symposium on changing, current topics once a year for training purposes. In addition, the CP conference has been taking place in January 2018, at which content relating to the conception of civil defense (KZV) is presented and discussed.
