Cristina Besio

Cristina Besio is a German sociologist .

Life

After completing her doctorate in 2006 in Bielefeld , Besio was a research assistant at the Institute for Sociology at the TU Berlin from 2007 to 2013 , where she completed her habilitation in 2013 . Since 2014 she has been teaching at the Institute for Social Sciences as a professor of sociology with a focus on organizational sociology at the Helmut Schmidt University .

Her main research interests are systems theory , science communication, organizations and ethics.
