Cristobal Cruz
Cristobal Cruz (* 19th May 1977 in Chiapas , Mexico ) is a Mexican boxer in the featherweight .

He won his first 15 fights, most of them by knockout. In his 16th fight he lost to Manuel Arjona by classic knockout. In his 18th fight he suffered his first point defeat.
On October 23, 2008 he competed against his compatriot Orlando Salido for the vacant world championship title of the IBF association and won by a split judge's decision. He defended this title three times in a row and lost it in May 2010 in the rematch against Orlando Salido by unanimous decision.
