Crooks' Corner

As Crooks' Corner ( en : crooks angle ) (without apostrophe is written) a place on a peninsula in the far north of the Kruger National Park (in the " Makuleke Concession") at the confluence of the rivers Limpopo and Luvuvhu that the tri-border region of South Africa - Zimbabwe - Mozambique marked, inscribed. The intersection of the state borders of Mozambique and Zimbabwe with that of South Africa is in the Limpopo riverbed in front of the confluence of the Luvuvhu.

In the 19th century, before a police station was built, the place was a hiding place for poachers , smugglers and evaders who could escape the persecution by rangers and police by moving to one of the neighboring countries - in the dry season, walking over the almost dry ones Limpopo - could evade.
