Crosbie is a villa in the Scottish town of Paisley in the Renfrewshire council area . In 1971 the building was included in the Scottish monument lists in the highest monument category A.

description

The building is off Moredun Road in the south of Paisley. It was built in the style of the Arts and Crafts movement for George V. Boyd between 1901 and 1902 based on a design by Scottish architect Thomas Graham Abercrombie . The villa has an L-shaped floor plan. The building is irregularly designed with three-story north and middle wings. The east wing, however, is only two-story. The facades are plastered with Harl , with building openings set off with ashlar. The entrance area in the corner of the building is designed with Ionic columns and crowned by a broken segmented arched gable . Different types of windows are installed along the facade, some of which extend over two floors. The building ends with a green, slate roof. The towering chimneys are also plastered with Harl. Today the villa is divided into two residential units.
