Crotalus lannomi is a species of rattlesnake ( Crotalus ), of which less than ten specimens from western Jalisco , Mexico , are scientifically known. The holotype was found dead on the street.

features

The holotype of Crotalus lannomi had a body length of 64 centimeters, of which 7 centimeters make up the tail. The shape of the snake is short with a broad head and a very small tail rattle. The basic color of the snake is gray, with a row of black spots on it as a pattern.

Distribution area

The first scientifically known snake of this species was found dead in the Mexican state of Jalisco, data on the actual range are not available. Since the first description, only six more copies have become known. The region is forested and has rocky parts.
