The Crown Commonwealth League of Rights (German: Commonwealth -Liga the right ) was founded in 1972 by the Australians Eric Butler founded and was the umbrella organization of right-wing , anti-Semitic and anti-communist organizations in the Australian League of Rights , British League of Rights , Canadian League of Rights and New Zealand League of Rights . The establishment of this umbrella organization should enable it to become a member of the World Anti-Communist League . The umbrella organization held conferences of its member organizations in the respective countries.

The most important was the Australian League , which was led by Butler and the most members was the Canadian League , which came to about 10,000 members.

Her ideological tools consisted of the theory of the social credits of the Scottish engineer Clifford Hugh Douglas, on which numerous political movements and parties during the time of the Great Depression go back. This idea is based on the fact that economic crises can be prevented if the capitalist money and credit system is abolished as part of a " Jewish world conspiracy " by private banks and supranational banking systems and a "national people's bank" is created that sets prices, grants and lends determines the interest.
