CryptLoad is in VB.NET written download manager for One-Click-Hoster , who also the download - links hide and thus can prevent, for example, a message of Copyright Infringement at Hoster. The links are encrypted and stored in a so-called CryptLoad Container File (* .ccf). Due to this fact, this file format is mainly used by illegal warez portals.
The download links are arranged in packages in order to enable individual pausing and resumption of loading processes and to make package-specific settings. Thus, in multiple files split RAR - archives are unpacked automatically after completion. Using a CRC checksum , data recognized as faulty can be reloaded automatically.
The program offers functions that simplify the download, but also bypass the security measures of the hosters. An integrated image recognition interface enables the automated reading of Captcha graphics, which are mainly used by free hosters. There is also the option of automatically reconnecting the Internet connection to obtain a new IP address in order to shorten or bypass the waiting times between charging processes. One of the simplifying functions is the possibility that CryptLoad can recognize the entire series by means of the first "download link" of a series. Furthermore, the program checks the availability of the individual files and automatically downloads all files and unpacks them if the user wishes.
Owners of paid accounts (“premium accounts”) have the support of several connections per file (“chunks”) , which can accelerate the loading process. An “intelligent download control” should increase the maximum speed through parallel transfers.
Any unencrypted files can also be downloaded with CryptLoad using the HTTP and FTP protocol.
At the moment CryptLoad is only available for Windows, from version 2 packages for Linux and Mac OS are also to be made available. When this will appear is still unknown.
legality
The general use of Cryptload is not illegal, and filehosters do not prohibit their use, but advise against it. The legal status of the downloaded content is irrelevant and must be assessed separately.
Virus notification
Various virus scanners work positively with CryptLoad. This is due to the included utilities, above all the powerful Netcat which is included as nc.exe in the CryptLoad package.
