Cuchilla Alta is a town in Uruguay .
geography
Cuchilla Alta is in the Canelones department in sector 8 . The place is on the coast of the Río de la Plata between the east adjoining El Galeón and the west adjoining Biarritz . The Arroyo Junquito , a tributary of the Arroyo de la Coronilla on the left, rises a few kilometers away in the north of the hinterland of Cuchilla Alta .
Infrastructure
The place is on the Ruta Interbalnearia at its kilometer point 73, at its intersection with the Ruta 70 .
