The Cueva de los Letreros ( German  "Cave of Signs" ) discovered in the 19th century in Vélez-Rubio near Vélez-Blanco , in Andalusia in Spain , is a cave in the Parque natural de Sierra María-Los Vélez with Stone Age figurative art.

The Cave of Signs is one of the most important in the south of the Iberian Peninsula , along with the Cueva de Ambrosio . It is about 25.0 meters wide and about six meters deep.

Your images are divided into blocks. The most important can be found on the left wall. The surprisingly fresh looking, red and brown sketches of people ( Indalos ), animals and astronomical signs were dated 4000 BC. BC and belong to the oldest human representations. The cave has been a national monument since 1924 and recently a historical monument of mankind.
