Cultiv
cultiv - Society for international cultural projects eV is a recognized non-profit association, founded in 2003 and based in Leipzig. It serves to realize and publicize various projects in education, film, art, literature, music and theater. Worn by graduates and students of the University of Leipzig, fueled cultiv of a network of scientists, cultural managers and artists. One focus is on interdisciplinary approaches.
Projects
cultiv is the organizer of the Thomasius Club , a monthly series of talks on books and science with guests such as Michaela Ott , Rüdiger Safranski and Raoul Schrott . The company initiated and operates an open access full-text database called cultranet , has tried its hand at an international cultural city magazine and has produced various documentaries ( The Invention of Europe , Good bye, Leningrad! ). In 2006 cultiv realized the series of events What is the Word - Hear Samuel Beckett . In September 2010 the association organized the conference Wikipedia: A Critical Viewpoint in Leipzig .
