Cumbo

The cumbo was a volume measure for dry goods. To this were counted: Grain , rice and salt . The measure applied in the Portuguese area of Bardez and Salcete in the Indian state of Goa . The third dimension in the Curo chain was also referred to as Mahnds or Maunds by the English. The coro was divided into 24 medidas and had 24 2/3 liters .
