Frederic Kohl (born September 17, 1978 ) is a former Austrian triathlete . He is the national triathlon champion in the middle distance (2008, 2009) and vice national champion (2006, 2007).

Career

He competed in short and long distance triathlon competitions. In 2008 and 2009 he was Austrian national champion in the middle distance, having finished second here twice in previous years. The Tyrolean started for the Tri Team Telfs club .

In May 2008, with his fourth place at the Ironman Lanzarote (3.8 km swimming, 180 km cycling and 42.195 km running) , he qualified for the second time after 2004 for a starting place at the Ironman World Championship in Hawaii. Frederic Kohl has not appeared internationally since 2010.

Frederic Kohl studied at the University of Innsbruck and works as a teacher for geography and French at the Stams ski school . He lives with his girlfriend in Telfs .
