Philip Pertl (born May 8, 1998 in Schwarzach im Pongau ) is an Austrian triathlete . He is national champion in the triathlon sprint distance (2017).

Career

In June 2015 he became junior vice state champion triathlon on the sprint distance (750 m swimming, 20 km cycling and 5 km running) in Burgenland at Neufelder See .

Triathlon state champion 2017

In June 2017 Philip Pertl became national champion on the triathlon sprint distance.

At the European Triathlon Championships in Kitzbühel in June he finished 15th among the juniors.
In October 2017 he and the Austrian team ( Therese Feuersinger , Pia Totschnig , Magdalena Früh , Lukas Gstaltner and Leon Pauger ) won the junior nation ranking with a total of eight podium places in ten races from April to October, ahead of Hungary and France.

Philip Pertl lives in Dorfgastein . His older brother Lukas Pertl (* 1995) is also active as a triathlete in the Austrian national team.
