Peter Slapke (born July 16, 1949 in Weißwasser ) is a former German ice hockey player , referee and coach. He has been a member of the Hall of Fame of the German Ice Hockey Museum since 1999 .

Career

He played from 1968 to 1980 for SG Dynamo Weißwasser , with which he was GDR champion several times.

Internationally, he played for the GDR national team from the 1969 World Cup to the 1979 World Cup .

As main referee, he directed games in the Bundesliga and DEL from 1990 to 2001 .

From 2002 to 2003 he was a coach at HC München 98 . During the 2014/15 season he was part of the coaching staff at the Tölzer Löwen .
