Stefan Perg (born January 3, 1972 ) is a former Austrian triathlete . He is a two-time national champion in the Olympic distance (2003, 2006).

Career

The Lower Austrian Stefan Perg only started triathlon at the age of 23.
In 2003 and again in 2006 he was Austrian national champion in the short triathlon distance (1.5 km swimming, 40 km cycling and 10 km running). Stefan Perg was trained by Gerald Dygryn.
In 2004 he was third in the cross triathlon at Xterra Austria .

He is in a relationship with the triathlete Carina Prinz (* 1985) and lives in Mödling . In 2008 Stefan Perg declared his active time over.
