Lukas Gstaltner (born June 11, 1998 in Vienna ) is an Austrian triathlete and triathlon state champion over the sprint distance (2018).

Career

Lukas Gstaltner joined the LCC Vienna in 2006 and has been running triathlons since 2010.

In June 2016 he became Junior State Champion in Burgenland and in 2017 Vice State Champion (elite) on the triathlon sprint distance (750 m swimming, 20 km cycling and 5 km running).

In October 2017 Lukas Gstaltner and the Austrian team ( Therese Feuersinger , Pia Totschnig , Magdalena Früh , Philip Pertl and Leon Pauger ) won the junior nation ranking with a total of eight podium places in ten races from April to October, ahead of Hungary and France.

He started in the 2018 season in the B-team of the ÖTRV ( Austrian Triathlon Association ). In April 2018 he became vice national champion in the short distance duathlon and in June the 19-year-old Viennese became national champion in sprint triathlon in Tulln .

In May 2019 he was third in the state championship on the triathlon sprint distance in Klosterneuburg .
