Magdalena Früh (born October 7, 2000 in Innsbruck ) is an Austrian triathlete , reigning triathlon state champion over the sprint distance (2018, 2019) and junior runner-up European sprint triathlon champion (2018).

Career

In October 2017 Magdalena breakfast was in the Spanish Melilla with the Austrian team ( Therese Feuersinger , Lukas Gstaltner , Leon Pauger , Philip Pertl and Pia Totschnig the nations ranking of the juniors ahead of Hungary and France) with a total of eight podium finishes in ten races from April to October win.

State champion sprint triathlon 2018 and 2019

Magdalena Früh starts in the 2018 season in the national youth team of the Austrian Triathlon Association (ÖTRV). In June the Tyrolean became national champion in the sprint triathlon (750 m swimming, 20 km cycling and 5 km running) - she won the junior class in Tulln and was also the fastest Austrian in the elite field. In July 2018, the then 17-year-old was runner-up in Estonia in the junior triathlon sprint distance (750 m swimming, 20 km cycling and 5 km running). She finished sixth at the 2018 Junior World Championship in Australia.

In March 2019, the then 18-year-old became U20 national cross-country champion in Innsbruck. In May she became national sprint triathlon champion for the second time in a row.

Magdalena Früh lives in Völs near Innsbruck .
