Theresa Moser (born January 17, 1993 in Lienz ) is an Austrian duathlete , triathlete and reigning triathlon state champion over the Olympic distance (2015).

Career

As a child, Theresa Moser was active in running and at the age of eight she started swimming at the Raika Sillian swimming union .

In 2011 she started for the first time in the junior world championship in Beijing and finished in 22nd place.

State champion triathlon short distance 2015

In June 2015, the 22-year-old Theresa Moser became the triathlon state champion over the Olympic distance (1.5 km swimming, 40 km cycling and 10 km running). At the U23 European Championships in July she finished eighth.

Theresa Moser is trained by the former triathlete and two-time Olympian Eva Dollinger . She starts for the association RC Figaro Sparkasse Lienz . In 2016 she finished fourth at the Duathlon State Championship.

The student (mathematics, Italian) and military athlete lives in Abfaltersbach in Tyrol.
