Constance Mochar (born March 28, 1977 in Eisenkappel ) is an Austrian triathlete and national champion in the long distance (2010).
Career
In 2003 Constance Mochar started her first triathlon and in August 2005 she contested her first triathlon in Podersdorf on the Ironman distance (3.8 km swimming, 180 km cycling and 42.195 km running).
In 2008 and 2009 she was Austrian Vice State Champion over the long distance at the Austria Triathlon . In May 2009 she was fourth in the Austrian championship on the triathlon middle distance in Graz.
National champion triathlon long distance 2010
In August 2010 she was second behind the Czech Jana Candrová state champion over the long distance triathlon.
In August 2012 she became European triathlon champion in Wiesbaden in the women's class from 35 to 39. In August 2014, she qualified for a place in the 2015 Ironman 70.3 World Championship in Budapest .
At the World Championships Winter Triathlon Constance Mochar was second in February 2016 in Zeltweg and thus Vice World Champion in the age group W35–39.
In October 2017, the 40-year-old started at the Ironman Hawaii and finished eleventh in the W40-44 age group.
Today Constance Mochar lives with her son, who also runs triathlon, in Klagenfurt am Wörthersee.
