The Mostiman Triathlon is since 2010 annually in Wallsee- Sindelburg on the Danube in Mostviertel held Triathlon -Sportveranstaltung and is considered one of the most famous triathlon events in Austria.

The competition has been held over the Olympic distance (1.5 km swimming, 38 km cycling and 10 km running) since 2010.

In this race, the Lower Austrian state championships triathlon are organized in different classes every year. Since 2015, the “Supaman” has also been a sprint distance race (0.75 km swimming, 20 km cycling and 5 km running).

In 2017 and 2018, the triathlon national champions on the short distance were determined here. Over the sprint distance (750 m swimming, 19 km cycling and 5 km running) the state championship on the sprint distance will be held on July 25, 2020 .

Results

Olympic distance

The race over the Olympic distance (1.5 km swimming, 38 km cycling and 10 km running) has been held since 2010.

  • The swim goes over the 1500 m in the Danube old arm.
  • The 38 km long bike route (with no slipstream) runs on a largely flat route with two climbs.
  • The final running distance is three laps of 3.33 km.

The Austrian State Championship Sprint Distance will be held for the first time in 2020 over the sprint distance (750 m swimming, 19 km cycling and 5 km running) .
