Lydia Waldmüller
Lydia Waldmüller (born July 7, 1986 in Vienna ) is a former Austrian triathlete and duathlete . She is Duathlon State Champion (2007), Triathlon State Champion on the short distance (2010) and sprint distance (2013).
Career
Lydia Waldmüller was already able to achieve national successes in duathlon and triathlon as a teenager and now competes internationally mainly over the Olympic distance (short distance: 1.5 km swimming, 40 km cycling and 10 km running).
In 2005 she became Vice State Champion Aquathlon in the Juniors. In the same year she also won the Austrian Junior National Championship in both duathlon and triathlon.
State champion duathlon 2007
In 2007 she became Austrian Duathlon State Champion and in 2010 also Triathlon State Champion on the short distance on Vienna's Danube Island.
She is a regular soldier in the Austrian Armed Forces in Vienna / Südstadt as a competitive Armed Forces athlete. Waldmüller starts for the Tri Kagran association .
State champion triathlon 2013
Lydia Waldmüller became national champion on the triathlon sprint distance in May 2013. In July she was triathlon vice-state champion over the Olympic distance in Obertrum and second in Norway in August in the Norseman - one of the toughest triathlon competitions over the long distance. Waldmüller has not appeared internationally since 2014.
She has been married to the former triathlete Christoph Kullnig (* 1979) since April 2016 .
