Jasmine Keller-Hämmerle
Jasmine Keller-Hämmerle (* 1966 in Lustenau as Jasmine Hämmerle ) is a former Austrian triathlete , ten-time triathlon national champion (between 1992 and 2000) and military world champion (1999).
Career
On October 1, 1989, Jasmine Hämmerle was the first woman from Vorarlberg to join the Austrian army as a recruit.
In 1995 she won the Trans Vorarlberg Triathlon for the third time in a row (3 km swimming, 120 km cycling and 15 km running).
Military world champion triathlon 1999
In 1999 she reached third place on the long distance at the Triathlon World Championship in Sweden and she was seventh at the European Championship on the short distance triathlon. In August, the HLSZ athlete (Army Competence Center; in the rank of private) won the triathlon competition on the Olympic distance at the Summer Military World Games and Hämmerle was thus military world champion.
