The Linz-Triathlon is an annually since 2005 in the Upper Austrian region of Linz held Triathlon -Sportveranstaltung.

In 2005, the first triathlon on the sprint distance (750 m swimming, 24 km cycling and 5 km running) was held here at Pleschinger See northeast of Linz , and since 2008 there has also been a race over the middle distance (1.9 km swimming, 90 km cycling) and 21.1 km run) and, since 2015, over the short distance (900 m swim, 45 km bike and 10.5 km run).

More than 1100 athletes were registered for the 10th edition in 2014.

In 2017 the Austrian Triathlon Association (ÖTRV) held the triathlon state championships on the middle distance . In 2018 the Linz Triathlon was held for the 14th time and there were more than 1300 athletes on the various distances.

The 16th edition originally planned for May 23, 2020 had to be canceled in April due to the spread of the coronavirus and the next race here is on June 5, 2021.
