Tamara Kozulina (born January 2, 1976 in Pervomaisk ) is a former Ukrainian triathlete .

Career

Tamara Kozulina started in the European Duathlon Cup while she was still a student. In 1998 she completed her sports studies and has been a professional triathlon since 1999.

In 2001 she won the ETU Duathlon Cup in Blumenau, Austria.

ITU world champion triathlon long distance 2004

In 2004 she became long distance world champion in Sweden. In October 2005 she finished 13th at the Ironman World Championship in Hawaii.

In April 2009 she won the long distance at the Strongman All Japan Triathlon and was able to successfully defend this title in 2010.

She has been married to the Ukrainian triathlete Viktor Sjemzew (* 1973) since April 2013 . Their son was born in July 2013.

In September 2014 she finished second at the Ironman Wisconsin . Since 2015 she no longer appears internationally and works as a trainer.
