Eva Dollinger (* 10. April 1978 in Wörgl , Tyrol as Eva Maria Bramböck ) is a former Austrian triathlete , multiple Austrian champion, two-time Olympian (2004, 2008) and Ironman -Siegerin (2010).

Career

Eva Dollinger grew up with two siblings in Tyrol.

The temporary soldier is a Magistra in Sport Science and a Magistra in Teaching Physical Education and PPP (Philosophy, Psychology and Pedagogy). She began her sporting career in 1988 as a swimmer. In 1991 the cross-country run was added and in 1994 she started her first triathlon in Kirchbichl .

2004 Summer Olympics

In 2000 she then specialized in triathlon and in 2001 she became the U23 national triathlon champion. Dollinger started in 2004 (rank 28) and again in 2008 for Austria at the Olympic Games.

In June 2005 she won the Olympic distance and was thus also the triathlon state champion on the short distance.

Change to the long distance in 2009

In July 2009 she started for the first time in Klagenfurt at the Ironman Austria on the long distance (3.86 km swimming, 180.2 km cycling and 42.195 km running), where she came fourth as the best Austrian.
In July 2010 she was the second Austrian triathlete after Kate Allen (2003 and 2005) to win the Ironman Austria and at the Trumer Triathlon in August, she also won the middle distance for the first time.

Eva Dollinger started as a triathlon professional for the Wave Tri Team TS Wörgl .
She has been married to Helmut Dollinger since 2005 and they both live in Angath in Tyrol. In October 2011 she declared her professional career over. Their daughter was born in January 2013.

Today she is active as a trainer and supervises u. a. the Austrian triathletes Lisa Perterer and Lisa-Maria Dornauer .
