Cunext is a Spanish manufacturer of wires, cables and sheets made of copper .

Cunext was created in 2004 through a management buyout from Atlantic Copper , a subsidiary of Freeport-McMoRan . In 2014 the Aristrain family took control.

In 2015, Cunext acquired ECN Cable, a manufacturer of power conductors for overhead lines, insulated cables up to 66 kV and bimetal products for power and telecommunications lines from General Cable .
