Curve Fever Pro is an online multiplayer video game. It was developed by Hidden Monster Games and was released on February 26, 2018. It is the fourth game in the Curve Fever series.

It is a remake of the DOS - computer game Achtung, die Kurve! .

As soon as you touch your own line or that of an opponent, you are eliminated, but the curve remains. The aim of the game is to survive longer than the opponents.

Gameplay

The player controls the curve with four buttons: One can turn the curve to the left, the other to the right with the remaining buttons you can activate skills. However, the curves don't bend abruptly, as is the case with Snake , but bend gradually.

The player units appear on a map and move at a constant speed until they crash or win. Skilful steering can take away space from opponents and force them to make mistakes. A competition consists of several game rounds.

Modules

The players can equip their ships with different abilities, so-called modules , which can react either defensively or offensively . These skills and ships can be unlocked during the game.

Game modes

Since the release, some new game modes have been tried out by the developers.

Knock-out mode

One of them is the knock-out mode : the winner of each round is immune for the next game, so cannot be knocked- out if he dies first. Players who die first in a round are eliminated. The last remaining player wins the game.

FFA-Pro

Another game mode is FFA- Pro . This mode is about collecting as many points as possible after six rounds. The player with the most points wins. You get points if you cut off another player's path or defeat him with your weapon.

FFA-Pro 2

The current game mode is the FFA-Pro 2: The player who has reached a certain number of points fastest wins. In this game mode you can steal points from your opponents with your weapon. Now you no longer kill your opponents with your weapons, but steal their points.

Teams

On August 27, 2019, the team mode in Curve Fever Pro was introduced. This has been requested by the community since the beginning of the game.

The developers are currently testing several versions of the team mode.

On September 17, 2019, the team mode was replaced by the aforementioned FFA-Pro 2 mode. The developers have announced that the team mode will be released for private rooms in the future, which would have the advantage of free team selection.

Tournaments

The first official tournament took place on August 26, 2018. Won the players Legolas and Hrvat . The final had to be repeated because it occurred because of the high number of players in the Lags room .

In Curve Fever Pro there is an official tournament every month. The winners will be rewarded with the ingame currency.
