Pay attention to the curve! , Also known by the name Zatacka , is a free DOS - computer game that can be played by two to eight players. This computer game was developed by Filip Oščádal and Kamil Doležal .

The game shows similarities to the game Snake , you steer a constantly lengthening "curve". As soon as you touch the wall, your own line or that of an opponent, you are eliminated, but the curve remains. The aim of the game is to survive longer than the opponents. The game also shows similarities to the Light Cycles of the film Tron (1982). The player controls the curve with just two buttons: one can turn the curve to the left, the other to the right. However, the curves don't bend abruptly, as is the case with Snake, for example, but rather gradually bend and can not fall below a certain minimum radius .

Gameplay

The player units appear at random locations on the map and move at a constant speed until they collide or win. Skilful steering can take away space from opponents and force them to make mistakes.

The curve stops at random intervals and forms gaps through which you can maneuver with a little skill. To win, a player must have a total of . This corresponds to ten rounds in which you “survive” to the end, or correspondingly more rounds if you were eliminated earlier.

At the end of the game, the words Konec hry , which means something like Game Over (literally 'end of the game'), appear on the screen, suggesting that the author or authors are from the Czech Republic. Czech zatáčka also stands for curve .

Curve fever

It became popular again Warning, the curve! in the 2010s through the remake as a browser game Warning, the curve! 2 , later renamed Curve Fever , by the Dutch authors Geert van den Burg and Robin Brouns, which is constantly being worked on and features are being added.

Curve Fever 3

Curve Fever 3 was released on August 29, 2016. It was known for its different curves.

Curve Fever Pro

The fourth part, Curve Fever Pro was released on February 26th, 2018. This was published by Hidden Monster Games .
