The Cuthbertson Snow Field is a 340 m high-altitude snowfield on Laurie Iceland in the archipelago of the South Orkney Islands . It is east of the Watson Peninsula .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 1987 after the Scottish painter William Alexander Cuthbertson (1882 – unknown), participant in the Scottish National Antarctic Expedition (1902–1904) under the direction of the polar explorer William Speirs Bruce , which wintered in 1903 on Laurie Island .
