Cyberdog was a web browser developed by Apple that was released as a beta version in February 1996. It makes use of the OpenDoc software technology and ran under Mac OS up to version 9. This is an integrated application with Web browser, mail - News - Address Book - and FTP - Drag-and-drop functionality. After version 2.0 was published on April 28, 1997, the development of Cyberdog and OpenDoc was stopped in May 1997 and replaced by Internet Explorer .

The concepts on which Cyberdog was based can be found in the current OS X, for example, in the FTP integration in the Finder and in the WebKit browser Safari .
