Karl Gustav Limpricht (born July 11, 1834 in Eckersdorf bei Sagan , today Poland, † October 20, 1902 in Breslau ) was a Neumark , Prussian , German botanist and bryologist . Its official botanical author abbreviation is “ Limpr. ".
Limpricht was a teacher in Obergläserdorf near Lüben (1856-1858), in Bunzlau (1858-1869) and Breslau (from 1869).
Honors
Leopold Loeske named the genus Limprichtia of the Amblystegiaceae plant family after him . The journal for moss research in Germany Limprichtia is also named after him.
