Cyberpuck

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Cyberpuck is an input instrument for CAD systems and virtual realities that was presented by the Logitech subsidiary LogiCAD in 1999.

Its structure corresponds to a kind of joystick , with which 3D CAD objects can be zoomed, pushed and rotated in all directions. While the normal simple roller mouse allows only two degrees of freedom in movement, the Cyberpuck allows all six: three degrees of translational freedom and three degrees of rotation .
