Cyprus Classic Motorcycle Museum

The Cyprus Classic Motorcycle Museum is a museum in the old town of Nicosia . The collection of the museum, which opened in 2000, comprises 150 motorcycles and documents the history of two-wheelers in Cyprus with other exhibits .

Exhibits

To be exhibited u. a. Motorcycles from the brands AJS , Ariel , BMW , BSA , James, Matchless , Moto Guzzi , MV Agusta , Norton , Royal Enfield and Triumph from the years 1914 to 1983 as well as some machines that have a historical reference to Cyprus:

  • Military motorcycles from World War II
  • Three machines belonging to the Cyprus police force, driven by President Makarios' bodyguard
  • The racing machine of the Turkish Cypriot Zeki Isa, Cyprus’s first motorcycle champion
  • The motorcycle that an EOKA member used to carry weapons and ammunition
