Cyril Howard Beach (born March 28, 1909 in Nuneaton , † 1980 ) was an English football player who came to a total of 32 appearances in the Football League between 1929 and 1932 for Charlton Athletic and Sunderland AFC .

Career

Beach came in August 1928 from Hounslow Town as an amateur to Charlton Athletic in the Football League Third Division South . There he was initially used almost exclusively in the reserve team and played no role in the club's promotion to the Second Division in 1929 or in the following second division season in 1929/30. After he had already received a professional contract in March 1929, he completed a total of 26 league games between 1930 and 1932 as a right wing runner and on the half- forward positions under the Scottish coach Sandy MacFarlane as a supplementary player and scored four goals. In September 1932 he moved to the first division club AFC Sunderland and came to his only three missions in October 1932 before his professional career ended in the summer of 1933. One last trace of Beach can be found in January 1936 as a player on a works team called Hayesco FC in Middlesex .
