Dörlitz

Dörlitz is a desert near Freist in the district of Mansfeld-Südharz . The village was located in a cut in the landscape south of Oeste, which flowed into the valley of the Fleischbach. A trickle, which was probably the lifeline of the place, also flows through this landscape cut.

King Otto III. handed over the place Drogolisci along with other settlements to the imperial abbey of Quedlinburg on January 6, 992 , with the stipulation that the income should flow to the collegiate church Walbeck .
In 1477 the village is mentioned as Darbitz in a letter from Archbishop Ernst to the Counts of Mansfeld .
