DGUV job

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

DGUV job is a service for personnel and job placement of the German Social Accident Insurance (DGUV).

history

A central employment agency for the accident insurance institutions was first introduced in 1999 under the name job.bg as a pilot project at initially only one of the six regional associations of the main association of commercial trade associations (HVBG), the regional association Northeast. From 2000 the service for personnel and job placement was also offered in the regional association Southwest. After the merger of the two central associations and the establishment of the DGUV on July 1, 2007, the regional associations were integrated into the Rehabilitation and Services department of the DGUV. Since July 1, 2009 the service has been made available free of charge by all state associations of the DGUV.

In 2010 job.bg was renamed to DGUV job.

Tasks and fields of activity

DGUV job supports the employers' liability insurance associations and accident insurance companies in their statutory task of reintegrating their rehabilitation candidates into their jobs. If a professional reorientation is necessary due to the consequences of an accident at work or an occupational disease , job placement through DGUV job is another instrument for reintegration. With the consent of the rehabilitation candidate, the employers' liability insurance association or the accident insurance company instructs the respective regional association to find a suitable job.

Particularly via an employer network and the Internet, suitable activities are sought and, if necessary, arranged, taking into account qualifications, handicaps and interests of the individual. Applicants are advised in areas relevant to placement (e.g. with a view to the application process and the necessary documents, opportunities and limitations of the labor market). Employers can report vacancies directly to DGUV job free of charge.

DGUV job arranges financial support options for the induction and qualification of future employees from the applicant pool of DGUV job. The placement rate is "on average more than 30 percent" of those affected.
