DNA (hip hop group)

DNA is a rap group from Zurich . The name is made up of the following artists: Disko, N-Drew and A-Flow. Later another member joined with "Dä Glasseni". The first publication appeared in 1999 with the Maxi DNA . The Maxi was recorded and mixed in Gleiszwei's studio . P. Moos , Immun and DJ Nail from Six Pack Records were involved as producers . The maxi was published by NoCode Music. Various appearances followed, including on the first legendary slang night in 2000 in the Rote Fabrik , in the opening act for Rahzel in the Volkshaus or at the Battle of the Year in the Saalsporthalle Zurich.

All members were actively involved in the Swiss hip-hop scene even before DNA. Disko first demonstrated his talent as a graffiti writer before he took up the microphone. A-Flow organizer of various hip hop jams and open mic events in Zurich. Together with friends he has z. B. organized the legendary Back In The Summer Jam in the youth culture center Dynamo . The following were present, among others: Basel City Attack, Zee City Allstars, Knights Of Circle, Bermuda 13, EKR, Rookie, Samurai, Poet, Lexx, DJ Rockit and DJ SubZero. Furthermore, A-Flow and the Crazy Force Crew were already on tour across Switzerland at the age of 16 as part of the adidas Streetball Challenge.
