DTUsat-1 is a pico satellite developed by students at Denmark's Technical University , which was to be used to train students and to test a 450 m long space tether . Communication with the satellite ( callsign OZ2DTU) should take place on the amateur radio frequency 437.475 MHz in the AX.25 operating mode with 2400 baud AFSK .

The satellite was launched on June 30, 2003 from the Plesetsk Cosmodrome . No signals could be received from him and the mission is considered to have failed.
